  • •Refund, return and warranty terms for hardware orders
  • •Subscription plan names and current pricing

  • •Minimum age policy for account creation

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and ACC Analytics LLC ("we", "us", or "our") for the use of Sticklytics — the sensor, the companion mobile and web application, and any related software, content and services (together, the "Service").

By creating an account, pairing a sensor, purchasing hardware, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a team, club, school or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to create a Sticklytics account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf. Accounts for youth athletes must be created and managed by a parent, guardian or coach.

You agree to provide accurate registration information, to keep your email address current, and to maintain only one account per person unless we agree otherwise. We may verify your email address before activating your account.

When you create an account, you accept these Terms by actively checking the acceptance box before registration. We record the version of the Terms you accepted, the time of acceptance and your user ID so your agreement can be audited.

3. Account Security and User Responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account. Do not share your password, and do not let anyone else use your account to sign in.

Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission or if your credentials have been compromised. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter into the Service, including athlete, team, calibration and workout data that you or your staff record.

4. Sticklytics Hardware and Sensor Connectivity

The Sticklytics sensor is a wearable motion device that pairs with the Service over a wireless connection such as Bluetooth Low Energy. Sensor connectivity depends on compatible hardware, a charged sensor battery, a supported phone or computer, and conditions in your environment. Signal interruptions, dropped connections and reconnection delays can occur.

Handle, charge, store and mount the sensor as described in the instructions supplied with the device. Do not use the sensor as safety equipment, protective gear or a substitute for coached instruction. Do not modify, open, or attempt to repair the sensor yourself; doing so may void hardware coverage.

The sensor is a training and measurement accessory. It does not change the way your stick or equipment performs, and it must not interfere with equipment inspected or certified for play, or with any competition rules that apply to you.

5. Athletic Performance Data and Analytics

When you connect a sensor and start a workout, the sensor streams motion signals — orientation, angular velocity and acceleration — that the Service processes into reps, speeds, angles, workload and other performance metrics. Your calibration settings shape how those metrics are interpreted, and results can change when you recalibrate or move the sensor.

You keep ownership of the performance data you create. You grant us permission to store, process and display that data in order to operate the Service, including features you choose to enable such as workout history, progress trends and leaderboards. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

Athletic performance data is informational. It is not a medical device, medical advice, or a diagnosis, and it should not be used to make health, injury or return-to-play decisions. Consult a qualified professional for medical guidance.

6. Sensor Accuracy and Measurement Limitations

Sensor Data Accuracy Disclaimer

Sticklytics provides estimated athletic performance measurements using motion sensors, software algorithms, and user calibration settings.

Measurements, including shot speed, stick speed, acceleration, rotation, movement tracking, and other performance analytics, are estimates and may not represent exact physical measurements.

Accuracy may vary depending on sensor placement, calibration, hardware configuration, environmental conditions, wireless connectivity, software processing, and individual movement patterns.

Sticklytics measurements should not be considered equivalent to professional radar equipment, laboratory motion-capture systems, or independently validated sports measurement devices unless expressly stated.

Sticklytics is intended for athletic training, performance analysis, and informational purposes. Users should exercise appropriate judgment and follow safe athletic practices.

7. Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation

The Sticklytics app is free to use with a sensor. Optional paid features, plans or premium services may be offered. Where a paid plan is offered, the price, billing period and included features are displayed to you before you confirm any purchase, and payment is handled by the payment provider or app store shown at checkout.

Paid plans renew automatically for the period you selected until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from your account settings or the store or payment provider you purchased through. Cancellation stops future renewals; unless stated otherwise, access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not control the billing, cancellation and refund mechanics of third-party app stores, which are governed by their own terms.

Hardware purchases are separate from software plans. Shipping, returns, warranty and refund terms for hardware orders will be confirmed by the administrator and are subject to the policy published at the time of purchase.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not: attempt to reverse engineer, decompile or extract firmware or source code; interfere with or attempt to circumvent the security, calibration or usage limits of the Service; upload malicious code; scrape, resell or redistribute the Service or its data without our written permission; falsify workout, performance or competition data; or use the Service in violation of any law or of the rules of a competition you take part in.

You also agree not to attach a Sticklytics sensor to another person's equipment, or record another person's motion data, without their knowledge and consent. Where you record data about athletes — for example as a coach — you are responsible for having the appropriate consent and permissions.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including the Sticklytics name and logo, the application software, firmware, sensor design, analytics, visual design and documentation, is owned by ACC Analytics LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app and the sensor you purchased for your own personal or team training purposes, subject to these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law or with our written consent.

If you send us feedback, suggestions or ideas, you grant us the right to use them to improve the Service without obligation to you.

10. Availability and Service Modifications

We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be unavailable during maintenance, updates, outages, or events outside our control, and wireless connectivity between the sensor and your device can be interrupted.

We may add, change, or discontinue features, sensors, firmware versions or supported devices. Where a change materially reduces a paid feature, we will provide notice where we reasonably can. We recommend keeping the app and sensor firmware up to date; some features may require a minimum version.

11. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that measurements will match any specific standard or reference device, or that the Service will meet your expectations.

Lacrosse and other athletic activity carries inherent risk of injury. You are responsible for training safely, for warming up, for using appropriate protective equipment, and for following the guidance of your coaches and medical professionals. Sticklytics does not supervise your training and is not responsible for injuries sustained while training.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the hardware or paid plan giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost playing time or lost opportunities.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Account Termination and Deletion

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account from within the app. Deleting your account removes your account and the data associated with it, subject to records we must retain for legal, accounting, security and fraud-prevention purposes, and to data you have shared with a team or coach.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if your use poses a risk to the Service or to other users. Where we terminate your account for a breach, paid periods already billed are not refunded unless required by law or by the applicable store policy.

Deleting your Sticklytics account does not affect your ownership of the sensor hardware you purchased, and it does not cancel a subscription billed through a third-party app store — cancel that separately with the store.

13. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. The current version and its effective date are shown at the top of this page, and each version is numbered (this is version 1.0).

For material changes we will provide notice in the app or by email where we reasonably can, and where required we will ask you to review and accept the updated Terms before continuing to use the Service. Continued use of the Service after an update takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
